Texas Dental Insurance

Dental insurance is designed to make dental care more affordable and accessible by paying a portion of the costs associated with your dental care. While coverages vary between dental insurance policies, most plans cover 100% of diagnostic and preventative services (exams, x-rays, and cleanings) and a percentage of the cost of other services, usually 50-80% depending on the procedure. Medicaid – Dental Coverage for Children

The Medicaid program aims to improve the health of children by expanding access to texas dental insurance care for kids not covered by dental insurance. Children who are 20 years old or younger and are not covered by dental insurance may qualify for dental coverage under Children's Medicaid. CHIP – Children’s Health Insurance Program

The CHIP program is intended to expand access to dental care for children who are not covered by dental insurance and don't qualify for Medicaid. Kids who are 18 years old or younger may qualify for CHIPS. Any adult who lives more than half-the-time with an uninsured child may apply for coverage the child. STAR Health – Superior Health

Amerigroup STAR+PLUS - Health Velocity

The STAR+PLUS program is a managed care program for Texans who are eligible for Medicaid and need of acute and long-term health services.
